As a university educator, Lalia served as dean at several top hospitality and tourism programs.  At New York University her leadership ability resulted in the creation of one of the world’s most innovative graduate and undergraduate programs in the business of hospitality, sports, and tourism.  In her eighteen-year tenure as divisional dean and endowed professor at the NYU Preston Robert Tisch Center for Hospitality, Tourism and Sports Management she was responsible for the development of new curriculum including the first graduate concentration in hospitality revenue management, growth in enrollment from 19 students to more than 600, the establishment of a full-time faculty, and fund-raising resulting in the purchase of a home for the Center on the NYU campus.  She was responsible for increasing the stature and attendance at the industry’s premier conference (NYU Hospitality Investment and Development Conference) and for more than a decade opened the event by interviewing CEO’s from the global hotel industry.

Currently a full-time consultant, Lalia is focused on building her business and will continue to view each client as unique.  Her name is her brand as she delivers Genuine Ideas with Uncommon Sense to existing and new clients.
