Katherine Twells

AVP, Customer Marketing Western US

Katherine Twells currently leads the customer marketing organization for the Coca-Cola Company for the Western United States. After serving as Vice President for Area Sales in California she moved into a marketing leadership role where she is responsible for leading a team of innovative marketers that foster strong customer relationships for Coca-Cola across the Western US. She has been with The Coca-Cola Company for 28 years serving in increasing positions of responsibility covering multiple geographies and business systems. Her experience includes accountability for large national customer relationships as well as leading diverse teams of sales and marketing professionals.

Profiled in Marcus Buckingham’s bestseller “Go Put Your Strengths to Work” as well as the 2009 college textbook titled “Sales Management” by Robert Effermeyer, she is a respected authority in her field. She has interviewed over 20 visionary leaders to identify ways to bring entrepreneurial thinking into large corporate organizations and is a passionate advocate of conscious capitalism. She is the architect and host of the annual Coca-Cola CMO Leadership Summit that engages external CMOs in conversations with thought leaders on key marketing trends and opportunities for innovation and growth.

Katherine is former co-chair of the Chapters committee for The Coca-Cola Women’s Forum and worked to create chapters across the country to further the development of women’s leadership in the Coca-Cola Company. She is an inaugural member of the Women’s Advisory Council and The Coca-Cola Leadership Advisory Team, and serves as a board member of The American Red Cross.

A graduate of Florida State University she resides in Southern California with her 11 year old twin boys.
