As a successful corporate professional, business owner, trained workshop facilitator, women’s development leader and speaker, Gloria brings a fresh dynamic of straight talk, practical tools and mind-changing insights for success personally and professionally to inform, instruct and inspire to action.

As President and CEO of The Daniele Company, Gloria is a highly experienced professional and accomplished construction executive with more than 25 years in building construction and project management as a general contractor and construction manager. Gloria has led the company in transforming visions into reality for its clients through Relationship Integrity, Execution Excellence, Superior Customer Value and Safety First. A key business strategy has been collaborative partnerships with selective major construction companies and owners that has allowed the company to complete over $400 million in projects targeted in K-12 and higher education, healthcare, governmental institutions, and manufacturing concerns with a specific focus in pharmaceutical, automotive and aviation construction. As Board President of the National Association of Minority Contractors (NAMC), Gloria made history as the first woman elected president in the organization’s 43 year history serving from 2012 - 2015. She applies her collaborative business model and leadership strategy for success in her company to NAMC by redefining leadership credibility, developing sustainable infrastructure, establishing relevant programming and increasing the growth and capacity of NAMC members. She has previously served as Executive Vice-President of NAMC, NAMC Board of Director member for the past seven years, and served as Chair of the Major Corporate Partners Committee. She is a founding board member and past Chair of the United Minority Contractors of North Carolina which is the State Chapter for NAMC. She is a member of the North Carolina Coordinators Network, the Women Presidents Organization, Carolinas Minority Supplier Development Council, and the US Green Building Counsel as a LEED Accredited Professional. Gloria was also selected to participate in President Obama’s Council on Jobs and Competitiveness Roundtable in Durham, NC. In addition, she received the 2011 Women of Color Achievement Award from the 100 Black Men of America, Women Presidents Organization and American Express Open, and the 2013 Inaugural Pioneer Award from the Goler Community Development Corporation for her leadership in the advancement of diversity in the construction industry in North Carolina.

As a native North Carolinian, Gloria holds both a B.A. in Political Science and a M.P.A. in Housing and Urban Development from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where she was selected as a North Carolina Fellow.
